The Haunting....
I bought my home about 2 years ago now and there has been a huge list of paranormal activity that has occurred and continues to since we arrived. The last owner passed away in the home, and she had a daughter that had passed in a auto accident as well. I don't know what the history of the house is prior to them. On day one, even before moving in, as i painted the interior, i repeatedly saw shadow figures. We often hear loud crashes in the attic, like a huge furniture item is being tipped over. It is loud enough that we will go outside thinking something fell on the house. Nothing is in the attic and there is never anything on the roof. Twice I've had large heavy boxes from the back shelf of my closet fly out of the closet and land in the middle of my bedroom. Once this happened while i was sleeping and it woke me up. TVs and radios turn on by themselves as I'm walking by rooms. Lights flicker and bulbs die; batteries in electronics only last about a week before burning out. We often hear people knocking o n the front door or the back door and no one is there. I once had someone pull down my covers on my bed while i was reading and felt a distinct hand print on my thigh. Another time I was in bed reading and watching the covers pulled up and tucked under my chin. Quite often I wake up in the middle of the night from a deep sleep with someone in the room talking to me. They usually say stuff like "are you awake?" It is a man's voice. it is clear and vivid enough that it scares me enough to get up and walk through the house looking for someone that might have gotten into my house. very crystal clear voice that is IN THE ROOM, and most definitely not in my head. Like when someone really is trying to wake you up. My dogs have on several occasions, when in the backyard, stared up at my bedroom window and barked and barked. No one is in my bedroom during these incidences. My cat will often sit in the hallway in my bedroom doorway for hours at a crack staring into my bedroom. I have woken up to seeing my cat staring in at me several times (and he usually sleeps with me so this is especially odd). Just this last December i unplugged a string of faerie lights from a wall and began to unwind them from an artificial tree in the middle of the room to relocate the light string into my bedroom. As i was unwinding them, the string lit up by itself in my hands. It, again, was not plugged in, and they are most certainly not solar powered. Twice now we have seen thick mist trails climb down the stairs, around the corner into the kitchen and then down the second set of stairs into the family room. This lasts for about an hour when it happens and you can see faces in the mist as it undulates and rolls down the stairs. On one of these occasions my mother saw it and tried to "wave" it away; it dispersed, but then drew back together again and continued its journey. More recently, and most scary, my mom exited her bathroom and was physically pushed from side to side in her bedroom, against her dresser, to her bed, and then finally down onto the floor. I attempted to have the house saged. As the trio were walking around saging, Amazon Echo came on by itself at full volume and began blasting the sound "Day-O" from Beetlejuice. The above are just the things i remember off the top of my head, but as i said, this stuff has become common everyday occurrence already and doesn't even phase me anymore. The more concerning incident is the one with my mom being pushed around as she is 90 years old so could have been quite dangerous for her.
Video Evidence
Ectoplasmic mist captured by the home owner. This mist originated upstairs and curled around the corner as it made its way to the lower level of the home.
